US Donates Sh440 Million Military Equipment to Kenya

The United States has donated military equipment worth Sh440 million to the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF).
The 23 combat and logistics vehicles were donated through US military Africa Command (Africom) to boost KDF’s operations. They include 15 Mack trucks, two Mack tow trucks, and eight up-armored Humvees.
Kenyan soldiers will be trained on how to operate and maintain the equipment which was received by the head of KDF Western Command, Major General Joseph Kivunzi.
A report released early this year showed that the US has given Kenya over $400 million (Sh40 billion) in counterterrorism aid over the past decade, making it the biggest beneficiary of US aid in sub-Saharan Africa.
The report by the US Congressional Research Service, a public policy research institute of the US Congress, said the aid was aimed at boosting Kenya’s fight against terrorist groups such as Al-Shabaab. The funds were mainly used to train and equip the military.
“Kenya is nevertheless routinely the top sub-Saharan recipient of US anti-terrorism assistance for law enforcement,” the report stated.
The US donated over Sh11.5 billion ($115 million) in military equipment and assistance to Kenya in 2017 alone, according to the US Embassy in Nairobi.
In 2018, the US government gave the KDF 12 Bastion Armored Personnel Carriers (APC) to improve border surveillance.

The US government will keep donating and spending money forever(ignorance seems to be the strategy their using).
Uhuru Kenyatta and the Kenyatta family is the most hated family in Coast and North Eastern Region.
As long as that family is involved in the counterterrorism activities, people in those region will keep joining Al shabab and any terrorist group that comes recruiting.
For a country that claims to have so much intelligence, they seem to lack basic commonsense.

The American government, wana STRUNGOOOOOOOOO sana.
They are really struggling with fighting terrorism. it’s a STRUNGOOOOOOO, a big STRUUNGOOOO for them. More than 10 years of STRUNGOOOOO...
1. The last week we saw the Recce squad (trained to fighting terrorism) assisting Oscar Sudi evade arrest.
The stories in the media about counterterrorism are not being reflected in the real world. Vitu kwa ground in different.
2. Historical injustices in the Coast and North Eastern Regions must be addressed. Before the people in those region can contribute to these counterterrorism efforts.
Don’t worry it will eventually come to you. Otherwise,
We want secession.

Those are peanuts by US standards compared to trillions wasted in the Middle East. That's probably used equipment which was headed to the scrap yard anyway.
USA military is looking for a footprint in East Africa to ward China off.
A little bird told me China is planning to build a military base in Kenya but the US cannot let that happen.

As the world moves slowly towards peace on earth, all these war toys will be of no value in a black nation.
The world is in transition from songs of war (guns) to songs of peace (Spirituality)!!!
