Pastor Nganga Arrested over Fatal Road Accident

Pastor Nganga was Wednesday afternoon arrested outside Serena Hotel in Nairobi and was taken to the Traffic HQs to be processed before appearing in court over a fatal crash.

The controversial pastor had earlier filed an application to stop his prosecution before court, Justice Korir certifies case urgent, to be heard tomorrow.

Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko said Sunday there was evidence that he believes could sustain a conviction. Mr Tobiko added the Witness Protection Agency (WPA) had been roped into the case to ensure safety of witnesses.

He said more witnesses had recorded statements with police officers and prosecutors handling the case. The team handling the file is expected to hand it in tomorrow for Tobikos final word on prosecuting the pastor. The file on Nganga was taken to the DPP last Monday but after some gaps were identified, he formed a team compromising police, prosecutors and officers from the WPA.

They have since interrogated six more witnesses and filled the gaps ahead of the handing over of the file, officials said.

Police heard from witnesses that the pastor was the one driving the Range Rover and he was seen getting out of the vehicle after the accident at about 5pm on July 26 at Manguo in Limuru. Ms Mercy Njeri, 38, died in the accident while her husband Martin Mbugua Ndungu survived with injuries.

Iam surprised that as ubiquitous as cell phones are,no body got a picture of the fellow at the accident, since he is a celebrity of sorts.
Anyway, Kenya courts have a history of files disappearing. Will this be one of those? I wonder.

They may charge this fellow with some negligence, slap some fine, and probably suspend his license for afew months. On appeal within a month, the suspension is lifted, one fellow is amillion richer, and another is amillion less rich, and the circle of corruption goes on to punish the have nots.

The sad part of all this irrespective of the outcome is the fact that dumb, stupid, ignorant Kenyans will throng to his church and call him 'mtumishi wa mungu' I fail to understand what went wrong with Kenyans. We seem to be so blind folded religiously to a point where we don't see the evils being unleashed to society by this false prophets, hyenas, or leeches. The mainstream or traditional churches ( SDA, ACK, RCC, PCEA, Baptist, Akorino ile ya kina Julia Lucy, PAG- original, Lutheran, and Redeemed Gospel Church are the best refuge for anyone seeking salvation. All these others with exotic names are lead by extortionists. God forgive our souls since it's clearly written in the Bible that Manabii ni wengi; wa ukweli na wauongo.

"The sad part of all this irrespective of the outcome is the fact that dumb, stupid, ignorant Kenyans will throng to his church and call him 'mtumishi wa mungu'"

Ndugu Arsenal, this situation demands that the Kenyan Government protect what you called, " dumb, stupid, ignorant Kenyans" from this terrorist Maina Ng'ang'a.

The government should  shut down his fake place  of worship immediately.  Praying everyday and  going to places of worship is an addiction just like using heroine, cocaine, or drinking  alcohol.  The CREATOR does not demand or require any kind of worship.  However, the man-made gods do.

Ndugu Maina wa Ng'ang'a is taking advantage of his weak minded low self esteem congregation and taking every penny from their pockets in order to afford the kind of lifestyle that  he enjoys everyday.

There are two very dangerous professions that take  advantage of the weak members of the society:  politicians and the so called men and women of cloth.  These two carriers prey on human weaknesses, and capitalize on human differences.

We have to remain vigilant and keep some reasonable distance from these two careers.  Other equally dangerous  careers that wreck havoc on humans are the corrupt members of the police force, lawyers, and people in the judiciary.

Personally I lead such a simple lifestyle which requires that I avoid those involved in the careers that I have mentioned above as much as I can.  So far, I have not opened my doors or windows to anyone of them.
