Kenyan Embassy in Rome Opens Applications for Drivers with Solid Administrative Experience

The Embassy of Kenya in Rome has invited applications for an experienced driver on a one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

The deadline for submissions is 18 May 2026. The position includes driving duties as well as administrative and logistical support. The successful candidate will transport embassy staff, officials, and visitors, and assist with office tasks such as messenger services, reception work, procurement of supplies, and coordination with external partners.

Applicants must have at least five years’ driving experience in an embassy or international organisation. A valid Italian driving licence and a clean accident record are required. Candidates should be able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.

Fluency in English and Italian is strongly preferred, alongside good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Italian road regulations, strong navigation skills, and basic computer literacy are also expected.

Additional requirements include a valid police clearance certificate, certified academic credentials, and proof of Italian residency or citizenship. Candidates must also be medically fit to handle extensive travel and flexible working hours.
