DCI Takes Charge in Investigating Boni Khalwale's Bull Caretaker's Mysterious Death

Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has decided to postpone the burial of his trusted bull caretaker Kizito Moi Amukune amidst concerns surrounding the circumstances of Amukune's death.

Responding to claims regarding the cause of death, Senator Khalwale recently took to social media to clarify and underscore his commitment to uncovering the truth, revealing the involvement of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in the investigation. Known for his passion for rearing fighter bulls, Senator Khalwale invited a team of DCI detectives to thoroughly investigate Amukune's death at his home. He expressed readiness to cooperate fully, allowing the police to conduct credible and conclusive investigations.

The burial plans for Amukune will proceed once the police complete their inquiry and reach a logical conclusion. On January 28, Senator Khalwale shared the shocking news that his prized fighter bull, Inasio, had fatally injured its caretaker in Shikhuyu village, Kakamega. Taking immediate action in line with Luhya customs, Khalwale used a spear to slaughter the bull. Amukune, overseeing Khalwale's fighting bulls for two decades, tragically met his end while carrying out his duties.

Despite Khalwale's detailed explanation of the incident, Cleophas Shimanyula has contradicted the former MP's account, adding complexity to the investigation. The conflicting claims have prompted the involvement of DCI detectives to unravel the varied narratives. As Kakamega awaits the resolution of this enigmatic case, the participation of the DCI signifies a comprehensive and impartial investigation.

Khalwale has a strong case to answer! Bulls do not just kill caretakers. Only Khalwale knows where entry hole on the worker’s body came from.
