NASA MP Travels to Canada to Convince Miguna Miguna to Accept Nairobi Deputy Governor Job
Lurambi Member of Parliament Titus Khamala has traveled to Canada to meet self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna.
The MP said he will use the meeting to convince Miguna to accept his nomination as Nairobi Deputy Governor by Governor Mike Sonko.
"I am going to look for Mr Miguna Miguna myself. I want to put sense into Miguna, you are the deputy governor for Nairobi, you intended to be the governor and now come and take the job, but I have to check my passport to ensure I am allowed to travel back to Kenya," Khamala said in a video where he says he's crossing the border to Canada from the United States.
In a letter to Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi last week, Governor Sonko said he had picked Miguna for the position that fell vacant after the resignation of former holder Polycarp Igathe.
“I hereby forward my nominee, Lawyer Miguna Miguna to undergo full vetting process and approval by the County Assembly for the position of Deputy Governor,” reads part of the letter.
“The nominee meets all the requirements provided for in the Constitution, the Leadership and Integrity Act, the Elections Act and County Government Act.”
Sonko told Citizen TV that his decision to nominate the fiery lawyer for the post was informed by the need to flush out cartels from the City Hall.
“I settled on Miguna Miguna so that he can help me in fighting the cartels. I know that Miguna is the number one ‘anti-cartel’ ,” said Sonko.

That is not the way to reward a terrorist. Miguna has openly supported terrorists and has encouraged the overthrow of legitimately elected government of Kenya. Questions have also been raised about his state of mind. It is traverse to justice to nominate somebody like Miguna as a deputy governor of any county leave alone Nairobi. I personally would not want him elected as a Chairman of my kids nursery school because he is a lunatic and is not fit to hold any public office

Crazy self serving useless politicians. Miguna Miguna as deputy governor of Nairobi. Please wake me up from this nightmare. Why do we keep recycling these useless politicians over and over. There are thousands of well educated young folks who can perform these jobs to the benefit of wananchi. Offer them the opportunity.

To take Kenya to the next level, doing business as usual will be major calamity. We need politicians with balls to stand up and say what others do not have the gall to say. Politicians who have audacity to stand on their two feet call out others for their BS, give these loosers of politicians the middle finger and stand up for the down trodden mwananchi. Unlike these losers we have for politicians,Miguna believes in himself; he has a sense of self pride and nobody can take it away despite constant attack. He has the backbone and what it takes. Miguna by all means passes the test of time. I hope he accepts the DG position cos Nairobi needs him more now that the sissy governor has gone back to suck his mothers breasts in Maua.
