104-Year-Old Italian Woman Who Survived Spanish Flu Becomes World’s Oldest Covid-19 Survivor

An Italian woman aged 104 years has recovered from coronavirus, becoming the oldest known Covid-19 survivor in the world.

Ada Zanusso tested positive for Covid-19 last month after falling ill in a nursing home in Biella, where 20 elderly residents have since succumbed to the virus, according to the UK newspaper Sun.

One of her four sons, Giampiero, told Sun that Zanusso, who also survived the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918, fully recovered from Covid-19.
“The doctors think she is the oldest person in the world to recover,” said Giampiero.

Her doctor, Carla Furno Marchese said the centenarian lost none of her lucidity and intelligence while fighting the virus.

“She is up and about and not lying in bed and she can walk to her chair,” Marchese said.

“Her recovery is a great joy for us and a sign of good hope for all that are suffering in these difficult days.”

This makes Zanusso the world’s oldest Covid-19 survivor ahead of two other 103-year-old women in China and Iran, who beat the virus.

This virus needs to spare the elderly life is depressing enough in those nursing homes.Rumour has it that the virus was manufactured in a lab in Wuhan China and was meant to slow down or eliminate the Hongkong riots. It did that and then some. And we thought the atomic bomb was the worst man made disaster
