Deputy President William Ruto Denies Being Snubbed by Uhuru in Mombasa

Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed claims that President Kenyatta recently snubbed him in Mombasa.

The Saturday Standard reported that Kenyatta this week held a meeting with 24 Governors in Mombasa but failed to invite DP Ruto despite him being in the coastal city.

But on Saturday, DP Ruto through Twitter dismissed the article titled “Uhuru Snubs Ruto, Again” as “propaganda nonsense” and asked Kenyans to ignore the claims.

"Kenyans should ignore this choreographed, paid-for propaganda nonsense. I was in the office the whole day never in Mombasa," DP Ruto wrote.

In the article, The Standard claimed that Ruto flew from Wilson Airport in Nairobi and arrived in Mombasa by 10 am but returned to the capital in the afternoon where he met a group of leaders. The newspaper added that none of the governors allied to Ruto attended the meeting with Uhuru.

After the meeting on Thursday, Uhuru was spotted with Governor Hassan Joho at the popular Barka Restaurant in Mombasa, where they reportedly had lunch.

@ruto - maybe you are now beginning to get the message that Tanga Tanga-ring won’t work for you as you ignore the President’s call to get busy working for the people of Kenya!

As a matter of fact Tanga Tanga is a very dirty word in the Kikuyu vernacular! You shouldnt even associate yourself with this dirty word!

Tanga Tanga is worse than the word Mandowadowa (stains) in Kelenjin! Stains can be cleansed but mafi in the belly still remains to be dirty excrements!

Tanga Tanga is similar to wiping your “ass”, and then using the same hand with mafi excrements to eat Ugali!

Why are you denying the obvious with some colorful assertions! To include that someone paid for the rummours? Kingi say he saw you in Mombasa about 11:00 AM! Are you calling Kingi a liar?

Get back to National building and stop being obsessed with the presidency! Kenyans could even vote for you if you could prove to them that you are mweupe Kama pamba!!

Just show Kenyans that you are clean from the rampant corruption politicians are using to run down the future generations and our country at large!

Stealing is not acceptable; not now, not tomorrow, and not in the near or distant future that Kenyans will accept thieves as our future leaders!

We all want a country free of corruption where everyone has a fair shake in life! Where resources are properly managed without meddling sticky hands in our coffers, and no more Rotich(s) running the deposit box of our country leaving us Kshs 21 billion plus Kshs 64 billion in the hole!

Do you want a corruption free Mr. DP Ruto?

It's too bad that Standard is now properly part of the gutter press. We all know that Mois and Rutos don't like each other, but I'd it worth the numerous fake news? All from one source (the Standard), targeting the DP. Shame on the Standard.

No news outlet is targeting no body here. Someone is telling a white lie here because Kingi saw the DP Ruto in Mombasa. Why are the moi’s and the Ruto’s hate each other? Hiyo ni shauri yao! Kenya must keep on spinning regardless...
