Sofiya Nzau's Track Selected for EA Sports FC 26 Global Soundtrack

Kenyan artist Sofiya Nzau’s track “Your Love (Antdot Remix)” has been selected for the official EA Sports FC 26 soundtrack, marking a major milestone for East African music on the global stage.

Nzau confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, “So proud to announce that ‘Your Love (Antdot Remix)’ is featured on EA Sports FC 26! Such an amazing moment for Kenyan music and the culture. Our sound is reaching the world.” 

The game, which will be released worldwide on 26 September 2025, features a 91-song playlist that includes contributions from Ed Sheeran, Skepta, Koffee, and Idris Elba. Born Sofiya Wanjiku in Murang’a County in 1993, Nzau began her career under challenging circumstances, working as a street vendor and domestic worker in Thika. 

She transitioned to music full-time in December 2020, following the COVID-19 pandemic, with support from her husband, a music producer. Nzau’s music blends electronic dance elements with traditional Kikuyu lyrics and storytelling. 

This distinctive style gained global attention with the release of “Mwaki” in November 2023. The track went viral on TikTok, accumulated over 300 million streams on Spotify, and earned platinum certifications in several countries.

She now has over nine million monthly listeners on Spotify, the highest for any artist from East Africa. Her collaborations include work with international producers such as Diplo, Steve Aoki, and Avaion.

The inclusion of her song in EA Sports FC 26 follows the appearance of Kenyan group Matata’s “Not Today” in the FC 24 soundtrack. These selections reflect a broader trend of East African artists gaining visibility in major global entertainment platforms.
