Miguna Miguna Declares Support for UDA Presidential Candidate William Ruto

Kenyan-Canadian attorney Miguna Miguna has endorsed Deputy President William Ruto for President.
Miguna, who was deported from Kenya in February 2018, says it is time for Kenyans to end what he termed as the “cycle of dynastic tyranny” that President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are trying to entrench in the country.
“I am today endorsing William Ruto and ask all Kenyans to vote for him so that we can put an end to this cycle of dynastic tyranny. I say this without apology,” said Miguna.
The fiery lawyer claims the Azimio La Umoja camp sent an emissary to woo him to back Odinga’s presidential bid but he turned down the approaches.
“I will not give his name because you will have (a) heart attack. He is from Azimio and a politician from Central province who we were with in SONU. They sent him to talk to me and he tried. Unfortunately, he tried like a hack and so he didn’t get very far. There is no way I can support Raila Odinga,” Miguna stated.
“What they were saying is that even if I was not supporting Raila Odinga I should not endorse William Ruto.”
Miguna also says he decided to throw his support behind Ruto because the deputy president has committed to adhere to the rule of law, respect human rights, obey court orders, and uphold the Constitution.
“Ruto is the only person who said he will allow me back immediately. Raila has called me a barking dog yet I am here for swearing him in. And so, I, Miguna Miguna, hereby declare that Kenyans who are committed to freedom and the rule of law should vote for William Ruto on August 9th,” he stated.
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party endorsed Ruto, 55, as its presidential flagbearer in the forthcoming elections.
The deputy president will lock horns with Odinga, who is giving his fifth stab at the presidency under the Azimio La Umoja coalition and has received endorsement from President Kenyatta.

Did Miguna say Ruto adheres to the rule of law? Now I can see why this man needs to reside permanently in Canada. He is out of touch with Ruto's shenanigans.

MM doesn't mean what he says. His intention is to hurt Raila not based on principle or common mwananchi interest

Miguna is another idiot just like Ruto! He is so easily influenced with small empty gestures by WSR and that is why he is acting like a stupid kid.

Unfortunately all too often, he tends to act like an impetuous teenager, engaging in quixotic endeavors. His last attempts at getting back to Kenya ended quite predictably in failure. Then he attempts to get the Kenyan taxpayers to pay for his European adventures (vacation?) where he chose to stay in high end hotels and live in the lap of luxury. Ruto and MigunaX2 in charge of the Treasury will end badly for Kenya.

One vote is too many to loose. The Baba team have always ignored that one vote and they end up losing. Again let’s not forget that Miguna has relatives and friends who are blaming their own Baba for Migunas woes. Their votes will a difference.

Yep for sure, Arap Mashamba needs all the votes he can get but the moment he opens his foul mouth or when Rigathi does along with the other minions, he loses twice as many. Tell him that.

You are asleep if you think you joining UDA will influence others.Again some diaspora need to get over themselves Kenyans only value you when you send money otherwise you are nothing to them and how you vote has little if any influence on the overall election results if anything most probably those are the stolen votes that Moses Kuria was bragging about

He wants to hoodwink the world that he can influence Kenya politics with a Twitter handle.

Miguna,Muguna, if you really wants to shake things up, please name the emissary who was sent to woo You. Without that,I will take it as "fake news". As for Ruto following rule of the law,you must have been thinking about the Canadian constitution. That's understandable since you were having a senior moment.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend does not win votes. My preference is not either of the two horses. I would very much prefer anew politician with minimal scandal and high integrity.Ruto and Raila fail miserably on ethics, and integrity tests. We should not,and cannot ignore this, if we need leaders that are not thieves.
