Uhuru, Raila Receive Final BBI Report Ahead of Official Launch

President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga have received the final Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.

The document was handed over to the two leaders by the BBI taskforce at Kisii State Lodge on Wednesday morning.

Speaking after receiving the report, President Uhuru maintained that the BBI process is about the future of the nation and not 2022 succession politics.

“…This document does not belong to me and Raila. It doesn’t! It belongs to you. This document is not about this individual’s presidency and that individual’s prime ministership. It is about all of us. What we are looking for is a document about posterity,” noted Kenyatta.

Uhuru said the report will be officially unveiled at Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi on Monday and urged Kenyans to read it before taking positions.

“Let us read it as individual citizens because it is about your life, the life of your children, and your children’s children. Let us not politicize life! Politics will come and go but this society that we call Kenya is here to stay,” he added.

“We are not looking for what we disagree about. We are saying these ones that we agree on let us have a consensus and move forward,” he added.

On his part, Odinga echoed Kenyatta’s sentiments saying the BBI report presents Kenyans with an opportunity to engage in a meaningful conversation on the country’s future.

“The BBI report recommendations are not cast in stone. They are for you to engage,” said Odinga.

Rais Uhuru Ngina Kenyatta: Nakuomba ukomeshe mikutano yote ya siasa mpaka mwaka wa 2022. Jamani! Tumechoka na mikutano ya siasa isiyo na mwisho katika nchi ya Kenya !

President Uhuru Ngina Kenyatta: I beg you to stop all politically based campaign until 2022. My goodness! We are sick and tired of endless political campaigns in Kenya.

Nakuomba wewe pamoja na Raila mstaafu kabisa kutokana na siasa na kuwaachia wengine uongozi nchini.

I request that you and Raila retire from politics and let others take over the political leadership in Kenya.

Can Niko tell me how additional thugs-PM,deputies and 47 women senators will stop Raila from killing more Kenyans if defeated in 2022?Mara hii slave Niko want to say YES to BBI(BUILDING BILLIONAIRES INITIATIVE) yet the two thugs,Uhuru & Raila never received any ideas on where to get funds to finance the extra burden on Kenyans.I thought BBI was for more boreholes, employing more teachers, doctors, youths and funds for more research on food production. Now the UPUUZI/UPOOP means more loans to loot after paying salaries leading to HIGH COST OF LIVING which means MORE POVERTY.

How I wish we had kibaki as president for 30 years. This two have lost touch with reality.. Actions of President kibaki spoke louder. This jubilee thing has been the biggest highest. Mwananchi has suffered enough. It’s enough to see this two and would beg they retire like the camp for good for nothing like Moi and shut the hell up
