Kenyan Military Flies Choppers over Nairobi to Show Solidarity with Healthcare Workers

Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) on Tuesday flew military choppers with banners carrying different messages to show their solidarity with frontline workers in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The military helicopters flew over Nairobi displaying different banners with one written "God bless medics" while another read: "Stay at home."

KDF, through their Twitter page, shared a video of one of the choppers and captioned it: "From one soldier to another! We salute Kenya's Healthcare workers."

The messages were meant to encourage and appreciate Kenyan healthcare workers for their role in containing the virus.

Countries around the world have shown support and stood in solidarity with their health workers in different ways.

In the UK, for example, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has on several occasions led the country in giving medical workers a special clap dubbed ‘clap for carers.’

Kenya’s giant mobile operator Safaricom said it will roll out a free communication package for health workers comprising three months of internet bundles and airtime.

The number of Covid-19 infections in Kenya increased to 296 on Tuesday after 15 people, including 11 Kenyans and four foreign nationals tested positive for the virus. 74 patients have fully recovered while 14 have lost their lives.

An African (black) pregnant women denied entry into a hospital in China!! ( Watch on YouTube)
Africans wake up!!
May our leaders realize, our self-respect is more important than money. There is a spiritual war going on and our souls are not for sale!! These are new times!!
This is reality as our leaders keep quiet.
This a good time for all Africans to start uniting against their common enemies around the globe.
God bless all God's people (Africans) at the four corners of the earth

A helicopter with a banner is not a substitute for proper equipment, good pay and medicines. The clap for careers in the UK is in addition to proper working environment. Stop this monkey see monkey do mentality.

Which Covidiot comes up with these hairbrained ideas. I hope ni mtoto wa Kenyatta (has no idea what is on the ground). Flying choppers and doctors are on strike...some people in Kenya want to live like they are in the first world. Kenya is shithole.
