Police in Nairobi are looking for a woman who allegedly torched more than 40 houses in Kibra on Sunday in a suspected case of a love triangle involving lesbians.
Capital News reported that the lady, believed to be a foreigner, started the fire that razed down over 40 houses in the area after her alleged lover cheated on her with another woman.
The woman accused of cheating allegedly suffered injuries during the incident and was taken to the hospital by her newfound lover.
Confirming the incident, area Chief Hilary Chumo said about 100 people were left homeless after the fire incident.
“The firefighters were not able to access the area due to lack of roads,” Chumo told Capital News.
Homosexuality is illegal in Kenya, with those found culpable liable to 14 years in prison.
In May, the High Court declined to decriminalize gay sex in Kenya.

@ Major Tingatinga, yes I have to agree with Ruto RAO is the lord of poverty. What a shame.I guess our leaders have no shame.Bad roads, poor housing, poor hospitals, poor schools, and yet they take photos with smiles on their faces when they visit these locations.

Jilted “foreign” lover rendering struggling & hardworking Kenyans homeless? With the substandard DCI investigations, I am almost certain this woman had fled the country! Sad to denote the fact that Kibera remains inaccessible during emergencies! Uhuruto and Raila the LORDS of Wealth owe Kenyans an explanation! No Kenyan left behind! Kibera residence pay taxes just like the elites!

Let God decide if they will go to hell. It's harsh to judge fellow human beings like that. I'm not supporting them but none of us is perfect in this world...

When RAO was a representative of this constituency was he aware of this?I would think that its common sense that any place human beings are living should be accessible by ambulances, police, politicians, and fire fighters. Otherwise is should be declared unfit for human occupation...
