US Embassy in Nairobi Warns of Fraudsters Offering Fake Jobs

The United States Embassy in Nairobi has warned Kenyans of fraudsters using its name to offer non-existent jobs.

In a post on its social media pages, the embassy says it is not recruiting at the moment and had urged members of the public to disregard fake job adverts being used by fraudsters to con unsuspecting job seekers.

It also clarifies that it does not demand any payments from job applicants when recruiting.

This comes after a fake advertisement claiming that the US Embassy was hiring interns circulated on social media.

“We are NOT advertising for interns, and we and our implementing partners NEVER ask anyone to pay to apply to one of our jobs,” the Embassy said in a tweet.

The fake advert purported that USAID through the American Embassy was seeking to recruit 850 interns to work in various parts in the country.

The advert also claimed each of the interns would be offered a daily stipend of between Sh2,050 and Sh3,400.

Why is American embassy in Kenya so huge? What the hell do they do inside there? Have you seen the size of the Kenyan embassy in Washington DC? These humongous Caucasian foreign embassies are foreign command and spy centers disguised as friendly country presence. In essence, from these command centers (embassies), our whole country is under surveillance. Everything our president, DP and all our main leaders do or say is taped, recorded and analysed by these foreign spies. Why would they need such a huge imposing campus for issuing visas and diplomatic hello there? Any embassy in our African countries should be equal and of simmilar size and strength to our presence in their countries. This much attention and imposive presence is suspicious to say the least.

It is an open secret Nairobi's US embassy is HQ of CIA operations in Africa. It has always been. There is nothing wrong with that because US is a strategic partner of Kenya. The main purpose of CIA operations is to track and neutralize terrorist activities and other security threats that can threaten and destabilize our shared value, peace and stability in both Africa, US and globally. Maintaining Peace and Stability is a collective responsibility for all Nations. There are other African Nations that sacrifice their territories to host US bases that directly benefit Kenyans
