Eric Omondi's Italian-Born Fiancee Chantal Grazioli to Kenyans: Stop Gossiping About Me in Swahili, I Understand the Language

Chantal Grazioli, the fiancee of Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, has warned Kenyan women to stop gossiping about her in Swahili, staying she understands five different languages - Swahili included.

Chantal, whose mother is Kenyan and father an Italian, was born and raised in Italy.  She says she once overheard two Kenyan women gossiping her in Swahili not knowing she understands Swahili. In an Instagram post,  she says she is in fact fluent in  Swahili, English, Kikuyu, Spanish and Italian.

''So, I am here to tell you I speak Swahili, in fact I know five languages, Swahili, English, Kikuyu, Spanish and Italian. There is a day these two girls at a local restaurant tried to gossip using Swahili. One was busy telling the other to lower her voice because I could hear them, the other insisted I couldn't understand a thing because I don't know Swahili. When they were leaving, they came to say hi, they were shocked to learn I know Swahili and heard everything they were saying.” she said recently through a video on her Instagram account.

''So next time you gossip me in Swahili, I will know,'' warns Chantal.
