President Uhuru Gives Slain IEBC ICT Director Chris Msando's Widow, Eva Buyu Gov't Job

President Kenyatta has appointed new heads and board members of various State corporations in a gazette notice released on Friday evening.

Among those appointed to different parastatals include allies of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. The list is dominated by politicians and former civil servants.

Eva Buyu, the wife of slain Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT director Chris Msando has been named as a member of the Export Processing Zones Authority board for three years. Msando was murdered a week to last year's general elections.

Former Senate Speaker Ekwe Ethuro has been appointed as the chairman of the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) for a period of five years while former IEBC chirman Issack Hassan has been named as the chairman of the Kenya Industrial Institute for three years.

Uhuru also appointed former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga as the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Environment Trust Fund for a period of three years. Former Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidate Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprotich alias Buzeki will now serve as the chair of Sony Sugar Company board for three years

National Super Alliance (Nasa) CEO Norman Magaya has been appointed to serve in the board of Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) for three years, while former Kitui Senator David Musila will serve as chairman of the National Museums of Kenya board for three years.

Former Vihiga MP Yusuf Chanzu has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Consolidated Bank of Kenya for three years while former Wundanyi MP Thomas Mwadeghu will sit on the board of the unclaimed Financial Assets Authority for three years.

Other notable figures in the list include musician June Gachui, sports celebrity Humphrey Kayange and Tecla Lorupe.

Me think Kenya as a redeveloping Country we have too many unnecessary positions...Board of directors..startig with too Many MPIGS...Unecessary 57 Counties MCAS instead of even 8 like provinces..Salaries..administration is taking lots of cash wastage..CORRUPTION instead of Development infrastructure and Job creation..we really have a lot of Money...tax..but put into wrong investment.

What is the world coming to in Kenya??? If not recycling it's pleasing people - are they qualified??? What about the unknown educated - will they ever get jobs? To say UK is a disappointment is an understatement!

6 billion debt and then this and the persons being appointed and the rich!!!! but giving Msado wife a job good gesture but this will not justify his death and we are still waiting for ' who and why was Msado murdered
