Raila to Be Sued For Taking an Illegal Oath
Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria says he will sue National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga for illegally taking an oath on January 30th.
Kuria said he will move to court on Wednesday in a bid to have the opposition chief charged with treason.
“I will move to court on Wednesday to seek a declaration that the oath Raila Odinga took on January 30 is treasonable,” said Kuria.
Speaking in Othaya, Nyeri during the burial of the sister of Nyeri Woman Representative Rahab Mukami, the vocal Jubilee MP further lashed out at the Judiciary for its perceived silence on Raila's oathing ceremony.
He said the inauguration was against the Supreme Court ruling that declared President Kenyatta as the duly-elected leader.
“We are being told to respect the Judiciary, yet while the court declared that President Kenyatta won the election, Raila Odinga was sworn contrary to a court order. If Chief Justice David Maraga has been waiting for someone to question him on this issue, then I have offered myself to do it,” said Kuria.
Prior to the opposition's event, outgoing Attorney-General Githu Muigai had warned Odinga against being sworn in as it would amount to high treason, an offence punishable by death.
Raila went ahead to take oath as people's president in a ceremony held at Uhuru Park grounds in Nairobi. The oath was administered by Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang and deported former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna.

Hon.Kuria please include Esther Nyaikaki's saga of mishandling court documents,altering the filing court dates and planting of fake documents all in favor of NASA. The forms 34A and 34B that were never signed and or stamped which Maraga used to nullify August 8th election, were they real or planted? Disclose the agents who failed to sign or stamp and from what polling stations were they to be found. In a word, disclose everything so the truth can set us free.

I think Kuria is overstepping his position. The Police should doing this, not the likes of Kuria. C'mon now. Do we not have a chain of command?
