Mother of Triplets Escorted by Police After Ruto Gifts Her Sh100,000

Deputy President William Ruto has come to the aid of a Machakos woman who gave birth to triplets two months ago.

Catherine Mutua was left in a bad financial situation after paying the huge medical bill she incurred at the hospital where she delivered the babies.

Reports say she has been struggling to clear her rent arrears and provide for her babies and family.

During his visit to Matuu, Machakos County on Thursday to drum up support for his 2022 presidential bid, Ruto gifted Catherine Sh100,000 to help her meet her needs.

Ruto was addressing a rally in the town when he heard the new mother, who was part of the crowd, crying out for help and he was touched by her plight and gave her money.

Police officers had to escort her to a nearby lending agent to open an account and deposit the money after some people in the crowd tried to take the money from her by force.

What a gift? Only $1,000? How much support will this provide to the young mother and her kids. Just a publicity stance from a thief who can do anything to buy love.

This man Ruto!...how do you just throw 100k to this needy person in public without considering her security. There better ways of doing what he did. It should be like church offering whereby is between you and your God. It was a good gesture done in wrong way.

I just love the Woman in RED (Skirt) to the left. For I have so much DISLIKE for the other 3 Women walking around in Pants like TRAPPED in Men's bodies; the Buches. Kweli Kenyan women of Today have gone to the Dogs; the White people's dogs.

You are indeed a grand misogynist. Why dont you just mind your own business. Like or not these women have rights to dress any way they like. Its their bodies, their pants, their money, and their choice.
The pants you proudly wear are aproduct of Mzungu.
Please change with the times. And mind your own business. These women never tell you how to dress. So why are you so concerned about their wardrobe ?
If any laws are being broken, take legal action. That's how the civilized world works.
