DJ Shot by MP Babu Owino Speaks Out After Leaving Hospital

A Kenyan DJ who was allegedly shot by Embakasi MP Babu Owino has spoken out after he was discharged from the hospital.
Felix Orinda, alias DJ Evolve, returned home on Thursday after being bedridden at the Nairobi Hospital for six months.
He underwent multiple surgeries at the facility after he was shot on the neck at B-Club in Nairobi’s Kilimani area on January 17th.
In an interview with The Standard on Friday, Orinda said his condition has improved and is looking forward to getting back to the entertainment scene.
"I have to come to terms with my situation. Whatever happened was unfortunate. I request Kenyans to pray that I recover fully so that I can continue entertaining. Yaliopita si ndwele,” he said.
"I have really missed home. This has been a really long battle that has affected my family, friends, and business, but I cannot wait to be back.”
“I have so many songs to listen to since several hits have been produced during my stay in hospital. I have to listen to all of them in order to familiarize myself with the music," Orinda added.
Although the injuries he suffered in the shooting incident affected his ability to move his limbs, Orinda is confident he will walk again.
"I'm glad and I feel hopeful. I can now see light at the end of this. Sometimes I feel my legs. That makes me know that God is working on me," he noted.
“I see life differently now and I cannot wait to get back on my feet and entertain again. Tell all my fans I was moved to tears when I saw and read all their posts. I love them for wishing me a second chance.”
Following the shooting incident, MP Owino was arrested and arraigned in court, where he pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder and disorderly behavior while carrying a firearm.
He was freed on a cash bail of Sh5 million pending the hearing and determination of the case.

Babu should be held responsible for his this guy life welfare from housing , medical, bread and butter clothing, insurances, all that is needed for him to lead a life . He will not be the same again, he will never recover fully physically and mentally babu owino should serve a prison sentence and pay Orindas handsomely . and he does not deserve to be an mp (representing those he shoots)
