Pastor Charged with Defrauding Two Kenyans of Sh148K with Promise of Securing Them Jobs Abroad

A Kenyan preacher accused of falsely obtaining more than Sh100,000 from two job seekers has been arraigned in court.

The suspect, Pastor Anthony Mutua Mwangangi, is alleged to have demanded Sh148,000 from two Kenyans with the promise of securing them employment abroad.

Pastor Mwangangi has been charged with fraud before Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot.

He is accused that on diverse dates between December 19th, 2019 and February 1st, 2019 along Tubman Road in Nairobi, with intent to defraud, obtained Sh117,000 from Ibrahim Yakub. He allegedly pretended he was in a position to secure Mr. Yakub a job placement as a driver in Kuwait.

Mwangangi, who was allegedly trading as Manpower recruitment agency, also faced a second count of obtaining Sh31,000 from Hadija Musa Mohammed by falsely pretending he was in a position to secure her employment as a security guard in the Middle East country.

The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charges, noting that he is a pastor who is anointed by God and as such, is incapable of doing such deceitful behavior.

He was freed on a cash bail of Sh200,000. The case will be heard on September 6th, 2019.

Nothing good can come out of these fake pastors and fake religion. The foundation of these fake religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism and all others) is theft, rape, lies, maim and murder). Until people wake up to the reality, these religions will carry on with their evil acts and pretend to represent holiness and purity. This pastor is just an example of just that.
It's time for our people, to abandon these foreign and fake religions.
