American Man Dies Under Mysterious Circumstances in Nairobi Hotel

An American national has died under mysterious circumstances in a Nairobi hotel.

Businessman Carlson Matthew Fredrick, 42, was found dead in his room at a city hotel on Wednesday morning.

Fredrick, who was in Kenya for a business-related trip, is reported to have booked a room at the hotel on May 2nd.

He is said to have taken his dinner at the hotel on Tuesday night and gone to his room. On Wednesday morning, hotel attendants found his lifeless body in the room, with blood oozing from his mouth.

Confirming the incident, Gigiri police chief Richard Muguai says the cause of his death is yet to be established but that investigations have been launched.
