Water CS Simon Chelugui's Personal Assistant Charged with Defiling the Minister's 16-Year-Old Daughter

Water Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui's Personal Assistant has on Thursday been arraigned in court where he has been charged with defiling a minor.

Reuben Kiborek was arrested on December 23rd and detained at Bondeni Police Station in Nakuru for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl, who is said to be Chelugui's daughter.

The charge sheet says Kiborek committed the offense at Sarova Woodlands Hotel in Nakuru town on December 23rd.

“On December 23, 2018, at Sarova Woodlands Hotel in Nakuru East within Nakuru County intentionally and unlawfully defiled a child aged 16-years-old,” read part of the charge sheet.

Appearing before Senior Resident Magistrate Yvonne Khatambi at the Nakuru Law Court, the suspect has been charged with two counts of defilement and alternative indecent act.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been released on Sh300,000 cash bail with a surety of similar amount. The case will be mentioned on January 18th, 2019.
