Githunguri MP Gabriel Kago Accused of Assaulting His Wife Using Hot Iron Box
Githunguri MP Gabriel Kago has been accused of assaulting his wife Emily Wanjiru using an iron box after she allegedly accused him of being unfaithful.
The first-time MP reportedly arrived at their home in Loswan estate along Kiambu Rd while drunk and descended on his lactating wife with kicks and blows. He also allegedly used an iron box to inflict injuries on her.
A P3 form obtained by Emily shows she sustained injuries on the neck, scalp, thighs and upper back in addition to experiencing trouble swallowing. The mother of four also has burn injuries sustained from hot iron box.
The Jubilee MP is said to have been angered by his wife, a medical practitioner, after she questioned why she has been treated for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) three times in less than a year despite being faithful to him.
She has recorded a statement with the police and is waiting for her husband to be arrested and charged.The matter was reported at the Kiambu police station under OB number 05/27/09/18.
“Kago (MP) called our mother at around 3 am and told her that we should go for ‘the malaya (prostitute) in his house’ referring to my sister. By the time I arrived to rescue my sister, she was hiding in the servants quarter. He attacked her using an ironing box causing serious injuries all over her body,” Emily's brother told a local media.

Seriously!!! When are men going to learn to keep their hands to themselves. This is your wife, your kid's mother, someone's sister/daughter and this is how you treat her. Shame on you. I would like to thank the wife for alerting the slay Queens, gold diggers that the abuser, drunken husband has STD for sleeping all over the place.
