Kenya's First Female Aide-de-Camp RN Kamui Accompanies President Uhuru to a Public Event

For the first time in the history of the country, a female Aide-de-Camp accompanied the President to a function.

On Friday, President Uhuru Kenyatta attended the annual music festivals winners stage concert at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri and accompanying him was a female ADC.

The Aide-de-Camp who has since been identified as RN Kamui was spotted seating right behind Uhuru during the event, becoming the first time a Kenyan President moved with a female ADC.

Kamui is reported to be the deputy Aide-de-Camp. If the gear she wore on Friday is anything to go by, Kamui is drawn from Kenya Airforce.

This comes about a month after Kenyatta appointed Lieutenant Colonel Timothy Stelu Lekolool as the official ADC on July 18th. He also became the first ADC from Kenya Navy.

Leokolool took over from Lt Col. Victor Mburu who had served in that role for 11 months.

Normally, the roles of ADCs range from receiving gifts and other items on behalf of the President, escorting him into a waiting car, opening the car door, and standing at attention and saluting when the President sits.

They also carry personal items belonging to the President including mobile phones and speeches.

When is this nightmare going to end. Look at that face and compare it to all the other people beside him. Jameni pombe tu. Tusker badala ya kazi. The man should contact Waititu and get local alcohol drinking allowance since he is from there.
