Recent Corruption Scandals a Scheme to Finish DP William Ruto Politically, NASA Strategist David Ndii Says

National Super Alliance (Nasa) chief strategist David Ndii now says that the recent corruption scandals unearthed at NYS, NCPB, Kenya Power and Kenya Pipeline are part of a wider sinister plan to ‘finish’ Deputy President William Ruto politically.

Speaking to KTN News, the economist termed the scandals as well thought-out scheme by a few powerful individuals to scuttle Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

"This is not about fighting corruption. It is the weaponisation of anti-corruption to fight political wars. The upsurge of these scandals; you have seen NYS, NCPB, Kenya Power, etc; is to serve two purposes - to finish the Deputy President and to sanitize President Kenyatta," Ndii stated.

"If you have to sanitize Uhuru Kenyatta, you have to cast out the demons of corruption over the past four years which he presided over. The convenient place to put them is in William Ruto and his patronage networks," he said during an interview with KTN News.

Ndii, a close confidant of opposition leader Raila Odinga, likened the situation to the story of Jesus in the Bible, where he cast demons from people and put them in pigs which then went over a cliff.

“It’s like in the Bible where Jesus cast out demons from people and put them in pigs and then the pigs went over a cliff. So if you want to sanitize Uhuru Kenyatta, you have to cast out the demon of corruption (that occurred) over the first four years which he presided over and put it somewhere.

“The convenient place to put this is in William Ruto and his patronage network. So what you are seeing is an exercise of self-preservation and I think it is the wrong way to go about it,” he told KTN News.

Ndii, you advised and strategized for your king, Raila. Where did you land him? In Canaan or back to Egypt? You have no authoritative voice to advise Kenyans leave alone Ruto. Ruto is man enough to speak and run for himself. Do you mean we should keep silent about corruption and let Kenya burn as you had all along schemed and planned for? When you advised NASA, one of your opposition mantra was to remove the corrupt government. Now that the same the government is doing what you wanted, it is doing wrong? Perhaps you are hoping corruption escalates so that you will have an agenda come 2022, “We must kill this snake with all its eggs”. If it takes fighting and ending corruption to sanitize Uhuru and end hopes for a Ruto presidency so be it. Kenya is bigger than any of us, including you Mr. Ndii. There was a time you threatened you’d leave the country, what happened? Fight, fight, fight on Uhuru and Ruto. Rid Kenya of the corrupt cartels and your legacy would surpass that of all the former presidents. Ndii is just a jealous man who envies your being in power. Listen to and follow your better angels. The likes of Ndii want Kenya to fail and even burn. Majority Kenyans are behind you. Fight on. Keep fighting. Unless that happens history will judge you harshly. The Ndii’s fear facing off Ruto in 2022. That’s why he wants to drive a wedge between you two and the two tribes you come from. That shouldn’t happen. Fight corruption as if your last breath depends on it.

Wondering why the article is on DN and Mwakilishi, and not KTN, where the interview occurred. All you need in Kenya is to appear on a TV interview unprepared, perform poorly, then corrupt a DN reporter to rewrite the interview.

@Mlachake, you are 100% right. " Mbona matusi - we are all different & we don't always have to agree."

So will Ruto's chances improve if Uhuru (or whoever) stops fighting corruption? What is this genius saying?

The most educated fool on the face of the earth speaks again and yet again fails to make any sense of what he is saying.
