Green Card Lottery Registration for FY 2021 (DV-2021) Closes in a Few Hours

The registration period for the US Diversity Visa Program for fiscal year 2021 (DV-2021), commonly known as the Green Card Lottery, ends in a few hours, at 12pm EST (Tuesday, November 5th).

The State Department, which runs the program, says no entries will be accepted after the deadline.

AGreell entries must be submitted online at dvlottery.state.gov. 

The Diversity Visa program makes 50,000 permanent resident visas available to nationalities of countries with low immigration rates to the United States over the last five years.

Each year, millions of people from around the world participate in the lottery. Last year alone, 14 million people submitted entries.
