Kenyan Blogger Dikembe Charged Over Hate Speech

Odongo alias Dikembe Disembe a blogger on Kenya was accused of inciting ethnic emotions through his Facebook account.
He allegedly posted a message inciting certain ethnic group in Lamu to remove a certain group of people in the area.
The post has ignited debate on how the Government plans to conduct prosecutions over hate.
However the law against hate speech does not specify the maximum bail or bond terms leaving the magistrates to make a decision.
Odongo was released on a Ksh 5 million bond or Ksh 2 million cash bail. - Citizen TV
