Death Announcement: Dr Mary Gitau, Formerly of Baltimore, Maryland

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Mary Gitau formerly of Baltimore, MD.

Wife of the late Dr. Michie Gitau and loving Mother to Njeri, the late   Papa and Gatheru. Sister to Pastor Patrick and Rose Kibui of Baltimore among others.

Dr. Mary was a renowned and beloved Pharmacist known for her dedicated service to the Baltimore community. She relocated to Kenya in December 2020 and has remained connected to her beloved Kenyan community in Baltimore.

In March 2026 she fell ill and was diagnosed with Liver Cancer.  On May 8th she succumbed to the illness and went to be with the Lord.

Family and friends will be meeting for prayers and support at 10838 Red Lion Road, White Marsh, MD 21162.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday May 16, 2026, at 4pm at same location above.
