Unknown people on Monday morning invaded a property owned by former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family along Eastern Bypass in Ruiru, Kiambu County.

Reports indicate that the goons gained access to the vast land from the Kamakis side and began cutting down trees using power saws while others were seen loading livestock from the farm into vehicles and carting them away.

During the mid-morning incident, part of the farm was also set on fire. It is not clear who the invaders were and what their motive was.

Journalists who were at the scene had to secretly film the invasion after they were threatened by the machete-wielding intruders.

Brookside Dairy and Peponi School are situated inside the vast property that stretches for acres.

The 11,000-acre land is part of the Kenyatta family’s ambitious project to build Northlands City, a Sh500 billion dream city that will host a population of over 250,000 people once completed.

The Kenyatta family is undertaking the multi-billion-shilling project through their company Brookside Holdings Ltd.

The master plan for the project indicates that 3,750 acres is set aside for housing, 695 acres for an industrial park, 390 acres for a business district, and 1,697 acres for open recreational space.

The remaining 5,156 acres are set aside for wildlife conservation and agricultural purposes.

Correct headline should have been-Some Kenyans reclaim their properties grabbed/stolen by expired Kamau Muigai. All properties under elite gangsters names including Ruto,Kenyattas,Odingas,Mois,Kibaki’s,Wanjigis,Gachagus,Biworts,Pattines,present/past MPs,senators,governors,so-called 50 Mt.Kenya billionaires etc belong Kenyans. They can be repossessed/reclaimed at any moment.Time is ripe for Kenyans to subdivide all the land under their names.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.Land grabbers it is time this family gave back the land that they stole.Call it collateral damage or payback it appears this thuggish government is willing to go toe to toe with Azimio when it comes to causing fracas meanwhile hustlers are the ones on the loosing end with all this chaos. This sounds like the language of the crude DP and so called minister of trade.

It has began. The dynasties must fall if Ruto is to be president for ever. Like my learned friend from Canada said “Burn baby burn”. Raila and Ruto show down. Not even the international community will be able to fix it.

Unfortunately some myopic commenters are celebrating this behavior without thought that switching one set of land grabbers for another just means it may be your land up for grabs next. One such grabber tried to grab my sister's property when they thought Raila had won the election against Kibaki. Their theory was they could do so with impunity after Raila was installed.
