Gospel Singer Loise Kim Declares Interest in Kiambu Woman Rep Seat

Popular Kikuyu gospel singer Loise Kim has declared interest in the Kiambu Woman Representative seat.

Kim says her decision to venture into politics is informed by her desire to change the lives of Kiambu people, especially women, youth, and persons with disability.

"I have been doing charity work helping mothers, youths and persons with abilities. I can do wonders in Kiambu using my gospel name and the honorable title. We have a responsibility of bettering the lives of our people and I want to be counted in the process," Kim told People Daily.

The Ngatha hitmaker joins the growing list of individuals eyeing the seat that is currently held by radio presenter Gathoni Wamuchomba, who has set her eyes on the Githunguri parliamentary seat.

Other Kiambu Woman Representative hopefuls include Emma Wangari alias Mama Mwiko, Mary Kirika, Njeri Bakari and former Kiambu TNA coordinator Gladys Chania.

Kiambu Deputy Governor Joyce Ngugi and motivational speaker Ann Wamuratha are also said to be interested in the seat.

When music no longer sells, good move to make a living in politics. Screw ‘helping’ people. Helping your own stomach, truth be told. Women Reps make at least kshs 200,000 per month. Good money!!!

I once met fake Louise Kim at a wedding ceremony and asked her real name. But she somehow pretended to be busy and never answered.Does she know Kim family are North Korea’s bloody rulers? She is not the only “mzungu” hoping to be elected THUG in Kiambu. There is “DAVID OWEN”,a former MU striker who has unsuccessfully vied for Kikuyu seat twice despite splashing millions of shillings to locals.A BIG NO TO “FOREIGN” THUGS.

You're full of shit trying to be smart with" her name is Kim, Kenyan". Do you know that millions of our people: African Americans, Brazilian Afro - black Cubans, the entire Africans in the Caribbeans don't know where they came from just because their names were taken away? Be reminded that the white Americans can walk back to their mother country just by use of their names. John F Kennedy family, Rudy Giuliani (former New- York mayor) etc -can walk back home while the Billionaire Oprah Winfrey's has no clue where her people came from in Africa no matter how many DNA tests she takes. Only lost slaves would have pride in master's name. Calling yourself Louis Kim, Peter Kenneth etc- is a mental illness.
