Kenyan Police Officer Storms into Hospital, Shoots Girlfriend Dead Before Committing Suicide

A police officer on Sunday night shot and killed his girlfriend before committing suicide in Nakuru County.

Corporal Bernard Sivo, 28, is reported to have followed Mary Nyambura to Njoro Sub-County Hospital where she had been admitted with a fractured leg after being assaulted by the officer.

He then stormed into the ward and shot the 29-year-old woman several times, killing her on the spot.

The officer returned to Njoro Police Station where he was on duty and started shooting aimlessly, forcing his colleagues to scamper for safety.

“The officers were mobilized to disarm him but unfortunately he shot himself on the chin and the bullet exited on the upper forehead and he died instantly,” reads the police report of the incident.

The officer’s AK-47 rifle S/No. 4912292 with 11 rounds of ammunition was recovered from the scene.

The bodies of Nyambura and Sivo were transferred to Egerton University Morgue awaiting postmortem.

MuKenya says a Kenyan commits an offense if he/she is killed by an American Kaburu police or raiya in America. But they(American policemen and other killers) seem to have relocated to Kenya after killings were somehow legalized by 07/08 muuaji Raila sponsored slaughter of 1300 people,2010 poop katiba,2017.There was also the Omera volunteered deaths for their tribe(Raila) to rule.It is well known that katiba change and 1/2 looting must follow savage Raila’s deadly violence.

True. It’s become common. According to the article they were not married. So may be it’s true she wanted to ditch him and find another man or she was cheating on him. The cop didn’t seem to have close friends to talk to. All he knew was the language of the gun.
Religion may be foreign to some extent but sometimes it offers some kind of spiritual solace. Emotional, psychological and physical support are also important in life. Human beings are social beings. Not wise to live in a social closet. At least more women are in support groups.

@ Mugikuyu, Iam not sure if you could use supply and demand here. There are so many variables than just a number game. Besides that, In Kenya, women and men ration is pretty much equal, generally speaking.
I personally would rather stay single than sell myself less.
More importantly, we should look at the reasons men do this kind of killings. Is it fear of being dropped? Is it insecurity? is it insanity? ,Is it loss of Investment? What is it that makes man do this killings, and thus ruin their lives.Surely there are better options...if you love yourself.
One thing I know for sure is that men who do this kind of acts have let the other person control their lives. You have to be in control of yourself. When this happens, and awoman wants to leave, you just pull a"Mutua" on her.And that is,"Iam glad God made our paths cross, and Iam happy to have known you..."MMMMmmmm amicable split.

There are some issues that society in order to solve has to face them head on. One of them is maters of sex marriage, and dating. This is pretty much the core of male female relationships.
Reports have reveled the rampant teenage pregnancies in Kakamega country. And the culprits are the boda boda boys.No they dont rape they lure girls with their earnings.Obviously these can be reduced if not stopped by inculcating strong discipline and morals in youths.
On matter of dating, we pretty much have left young people to their own devices. I watched this documentary on dating in Iran, and was surprised to find out that dating and marriage is strictly done by match makers. Now before you disparage this method think of the over all social impact as it related to teen pregnancies, and boyfriend killing a girl friend?
Young men should be encouraged to channel their passions to other things such as hard work, sports and community service. My two cents.

Kenya police are a deranged low life humans. Normal people keep their distance from them. They socialize best with their likes. But kenyan women, in their blind hunger for money, are drawn to them like moths to a light, to feed from the bribe trough. Well, choices have consequences.
