Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria Fined Sh75,000 for Flouting COVID-19 Protocols

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been sentenced to eight months in prison or pay a fine of Sh75,000 for flouting COVID-19 regulations.
Appearing before Kiambu Chief Magistrate Stella Atambo, Kuria and 10 others pleaded guilty to charges of flouting COVID-19 containment measures.
Each of the accused persons faced five counts including failure to wear a mask, breaking curfew hours, and unlawful assembly.
They were each fined Sh75,000 or serve eight months in prison if they fail to pay the fine.
The vocal MP and his co-accused were arrested on Tuesday night by officers from Karuri Police Station in Kiambu County.
The arrest came after officers were tipped off that the group was holding a political meeting in a Kiambaa hotel in disregard of the COVID-19 containment measures announced by President Kenyatta and the Health Ministry.

I hope majambazi lawmakers Kuria and Kang’ata(their lawyer)will challenge these “laws” passed by Uhuru parliament.How come the authorities could not separate them in the photo above but were each fined shs 15000 for failing to keep distance?
