MP Johanna Ng’eno Expelled from Kanu Party for Disrespecting Uhuru, Asked to Seek Fresh Mandate
Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng’eno has been expelled from the Kenya African National Union (Kanu) party for disrespecting President Kenyatta.
While announcing the decision on Tuesday, Kanu secretary-general Nick Salat said Ng’eno will have to seek a fresh mandate from the people of Emuria Dikirr following the dismissal.
“The people of Emuarua Dikirr will have to choose between peace and anarchy, the way Ng’eno has behaved, we have to part ways, we apologize to the office of the people he mentioned adversely,” Salat said.
Salat pointed out that Ng’eno’s remarks were capable of igniting ethnic violence of greater magnitude than the 2007/2008 post-election skirmishes.
Ng’eno was arrested on Monday at his home in Narok County and was arraigned in court on Tuesday, where he was charged with hate speech. He will spend two more nights in police custody pending a ruling on his bail application on Thursday.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) approved the prosecution of Ng’eno for hate speech contrary to section 13 of the National Cohesion and Integration Act 2008 and offensive conduct conducive to breaches of peace contrary to section 94 of the penal code.
The DPP in a statement on Tuesday said the MP’s utterances had the capabilities of breaching peace in Trans Mara region.

It is 2007 all over again! The only good thing here all those talking are afraid of the ICC coming after them. They are fairly measured in their insults.
But the Ruto script here is the actual copy cat of 2007. Anyone listening to Ruto proxies talk, it will be very hard to isolate Ruto from their all out war! Everything you hear has Ruto as the brain child of the events. It it Ruto talking!! Kenyans know better!

Ruto is the masterminds of the current war of words and insults to Uhuru. As matter of fact, every thing Ruto’s lieutenants are uttering is reviewed and approved by Ruto to be spewed in the public domain. Ruto’s is directly communicating to the Kikuyus his personal feelings of the entire community.
Anyone who goes all out to insult women of a given community has a veiled agenda tantamount to the 2007 burning of women and children in the Kiambaa church in Eldoret! The same people who are insulting others today are the same people who sanctioned the Kiambaa episode in 2007. Ruto was directly in charge of the massacre then and he is hell bent to do worse damage in 2022.
What you are hearing is DP Ruto’s true wild colors. Ruto is tying very hard to divide the county in the same way he did in 2007.
Ruto’s reprimand of his allies is not genuine. What is happening is just a precursor to what will continue to happen should William Ruto be elected president in 2022. Kenyans you have not seen anything yet from Ruto!
