Kenyan Family Seeks Justice as Two Brothers Impregnate 16-Year-Old Twins

The family of 16-year-old twin sisters is seeking justice after two brothers impregnated the two school girls.

Zablon Moseti, the father of the twins said his daughters confessed they were impregnated by the two brothers and one of them is his landlord.

The brothers were arrested after Moseti reported the matter at Mlolongo Police Station and upon questioning, the two allegedly confessed to impregnating the minors. 

Reports indicate one of the suspects has since gone missing while the other was arrested on Friday and locked at Athi-River Police Station but was freed on Sh50,000 bail on medical grounds.

Confirming the incident, Athi-River sub-county police commander Catherine Ringera said police are in pursuit of the suspect who went underground.

“We have since opened a file on the unfortunate incident involving the sisters. We have received a medical report on the pregnancy status of the girls and investigations into the incident has commenced,” Ringera told a local news outlet.

Moseti, who hails from Katani, Machakos County, is appealing to relevant authorities to intervene and bring the child predators to book.
