UK High Commission in Kenya Resumes Visa Application Services

The UK High Commission in Nairobi has announced the resumption of visa application services in Kenya.

The mission through a notice on its website said its visa application centers in Nairobi and Mombasa were reopened on Monday.

Travelers seeking to apply for visas have been asked to book appointments online while those who had already applied before the centers were shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic will be contacted soon.

“If you would like to submit a new visa application, our appointment booking table is now open,” part of the statement read.

“If you have already submitted a visa application and are awaiting a decision from UK Visas & Immigration, you will be contacted shortly by our staff regarding your application status and passport collection options.”

When visiting the centers, visa applicants are required to wear facemasks, keep social distance, and allow body temperature to be taken.

“If you have selected our Courier Return service, please be advised that delivery of your documents could take longer than usual, due to current delays in transit times for our courier partners,” the mission added.
