Kenyan Man Stabs Female Cousin for Allegedly Cheating on Him

A 33-year-old Kenyan man from Nyandarua County on Wednesday reportedly stabbed his female cousin for allegedly cheating on him with another man. 

The man has reportedly been dating his cousin for a couple of years after attempts by their family to stop the relationship failed. 

He is said to have stabbed the woman using a knife after discovering that she was in a love affair with another man. After stabbing his cousin, he tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself in the abdomen.

The two survived and are currently admitted at Naivasha Sub-County Referral Hospital, where they are being treated.
Naivasha Sub-County Referral Hospital senior doctor Angeline Ithondeka said the two are in a stable condition and will be interrogated once they recuperate.

When their family tried to stop the relationship between the two, the man allegedly threatened to kill himself. At some point, the lady reportedly got pregnant but terminated it.
