Raila Wants DP William Ruto Investigated over Weekly Church Donations Worth Millions

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has taken a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto over weekend church donations.

Odinga has called for investigations into the source of millions of shillings Ruto donates to churches every weekend.

Speaking in Kisumu, the Orange Democratic Movement leader has questioned how Ruto is able to give away over Sh15 million every weekend when his monthly income is known to be Sh1 million.

"Every weekend, this church Sh5 million, the other church Sh5 million, the other church Sh5 million. That's Sh15 million in one weekend."

"Your salary is only Sh1 million per month and in a whole month, you could donate Sh100 million. This needs to be investigated," Odinga asserts.

Odinga has also accused the church of encouraging corruption and money laundering, stating that they must question the source of the cash donated to them.

He claims that some of the millions the churches are receiving are looted public funds meant for hospitals and roads.

"Churches are being used as avenues for money laundering. They launder money which has been corruptly acquired."

"We cannot fight corruption if we do not fight its tentacles we have said in the past look for avenues where they can launder their money," Odinga states.

Ndugu Rais Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta:

Who is not corrupt in Kenya. If people who call themselves the servants of God are so much indirectly involved in corruption instead of leading their congregations in prayers for an end of corruption, then where is Kenya heading to? Today in Kenya, after corrupt leaders are publicly identified with corruption, they have discovered one new tool with which to defend themselves against prosecution , "our community is being targeted". When then will corruption end in Kenya because every corrupt leader in Kenya has a community with which to Aline?.

Now maybe Uhuru will be obliged to respond on this sincere request from his handshake buddy.

Since many politicians and others including ordinary Kenyans have sang this chorus for many months if not years.

Actually, if you take a deeper look on this church donations it really could be a form of eluding money laundering and merely shows spiritual honesty.
Respectively, numbers do not lie in the context of making 1 million a month can't give out 5 million leave alone 15?

My take is still the STREETS do work well even if the solders took over as a governing counsel. We need totally different people in the transitional government not even RAO, Uhuruto and they disciplines.

I am glad you are asking that question...where is this money coming from? I have asked myself the same question since the Nyayo Era.......WHERE WERE YOU THEN, RAO? Nowadays 'people' are sanitizing themselves using Ruto .... hmmmm... not saying Ruto is an angel...NOPE.
YOU ARE ALL ROTTEN AND SELF-SEEKERS...idiots who want POWER to continue subduing tax-paying Kenyans. Where are the GOOD Kenyan leaders?

Yesu alipowakuta watu wakibadilishana pesa na kufanya biashara hekaluni (Yohana - John 2:14 -16) alitengeneza (he made) mjeledi (whip) akawapiga watu na kuwafukuza hekaluni.

Ningependa mtu aombe Yesu aje kanisani haraka mahali Ruto yumo na kumpiga mijeledi mingi!

Once given all the money by Arap Money Bags what do these churches do to help congregation? Do they pay hospital bills? school fees? Or even a meal in church. Nothing! In the end you find the priests, pastors, the so called men of God are the high priests of corruption. Very pathetic!

Today Sub Sahara countries have got many example on how to make things work within a county. Include from one of its own neighbor Sudan.

If we real want Kenya tuitakayo, then we also must realize that to be in power especial in corruption-driven is no different than any form of an addict. The reason of this is right now the underground on-going talks are how to pass the ball on each other so they can still maneuver they deals and become the richest persons in Africa.

Hence my fellow Kenyan we should propel the fight endlessly to the STREETS for long time to come and will eventuality yield the fruits of a better opened Administrations in our constitutions.

Simply, nothing will works in Kenya expect the longer term STREETS struggle for either a totally new people in the transitional government AND/OR a major change in the constitutions.

Churches do not manufacture. Churches do not promote agriculture. Churches do not build housing. Churches do not pay taxes. So why give them all this money? Peddle influence? Maybe. Clean dirty money? Maybe. If that is the best your 2022 candidate can do, prepare to be handout nation if he wins. He can't build an economy with such ideology. That I am sure of.

Ruto has nothing to lose, absolutely nothing. He's been there- done that. Someone who's got nothing to lose is A VERY VERY DANGEROUS PERSON. So hizo zingine ni kelele tu. You think he cares? Hell no! Why would he start now? I mean this guy will do WHATEVER IT TAKES TO BE PRESIDENT, MARK MY WORDS- WHATEVER IT TAKE. But ofcourse he learnt from the best at "giving zero shit"- Uhuru and Rao.

We should also investgate why RAO, a man without a portfolio is collecting over Ksh.800,000 a month from a handshake.
