Retired President Daniel Arap Moi Taken to Nairobi Hospital

Retired President Daniel Arap Moi has been admitted at Nairobi Hospital for what his aides say is a routine medical checkup.

His physician Dr. David Silverstein says Moi will spend a couple of days at the hospital as doctors carry out medical analysis.

In March, the 94-year-old was flown to Israel and was admitted to a hospital in the city of Tel Aviv.

In a statement at the time, his spokesperson Lee Njiru said Moi had an operation on his knee “which has been troubling him for some time.”

The problem began in 2006 after the car he was traveling with collided with another vehicle at Rukuma area in Limuru.

I guess you only see what Nyayo did but you haven't thought about what kikuyu do to each other. Look for example muranga water wars. Some people think water belongs to them while the governor tells them the truth it belongs to the people of muranga. Before you look at Nyayo look at your kikuyu and see how they are treating each other to the tune of killing each other to control God's given resources and acquire riches

Every ruler be it me or you is double edged. One has a good and a bad side and all depends on us to make our own judgment. Retired President Moi ruled for over twenty years. A little respect to the retired Mzee won't hurt. His rule is over and it is time to pick-up broken pieces with current government; glue it together for a better Kenya. Quick recovery Mzee Moi.

Each of us has a story. A positive one or a negative one but I would hate to hit someone who is already down. I wish you a quick recovery Mr. President.
