Your story lacks credibility, from what we have read so far and the briefings by the authorities, Jacque could be charged with being an accessory after that act if it can be proved that she had knowledge Irungu had committed the crime. There are 2 stories one of attempted suicide and the other of a vicious crime of murder. It seems to me that Jacque is more involved with the attempted suicide because she was there but the murder situation, it is along shot unless the authorities can proof that she tried to obstruct justice.

By the way I do not know any of these people, but I have taken great interest in this case because I am a woman and one is dead and the other's life has been changed forever and the common denominator is one man.

Jacque Maribe could be an accessory to murder but could also have taken part in it. Who knows... She lied about so many things. I trust NONE of them. She came into this with A LOT of kiburi thinking that she was gonna get away with murder. My only worry is that things were moving so slow but I guess it's how we are so used to how fast things move hapa majuu. For instance, why wait till last minute to collect her DNA sample???? Either way, from the get-go you can tell Maribe was deeply involved in this. Of all the people she had more than one motive to have Monica dead. If the prosecution is charging her concurrently with her fiancee Jowie then they either have her DNA results to bacm that she was present in Monica's residence or that she was the mastermind. Remember, the investigators, police etc, will Never let out every detail. What they did and this is what you can clearly see- controlled information was released because:- 1. This is a high-profile case. 2. The main suspect in this case Jowie had laughed at the police and CIDs in their faces and told them to drop the case coz it was heading nowhere and so did Maribe. This couple was highly connected to Kenyan officials in government who would have swayed the case in the accused favor. So police and CID decided to let the cat out of the bag and involved wananchi. Wananchi involvement put pressure on the case and the ball kept rolling. If everything was kept in secrecy them the public would lose interest and the momentum. By having the two behind bars, rendered them useless and inferior, making more witnesses even those who revered them to gain confidence and come foward. Naturally these are people who are almost always sworn to secrecy. They see a lot of things but would never betray their "Masters". All in all, so much has been said especially in defense of Maribe- some seeing her as the victim and even questioning why her case is conjoined witb her fiancee as if covering up for a Murder is something very trivial.
