Kenyans Online Reject Makueni Governor Kibwana’s Plan to Retire from Politics, Vow to Make Him Kenya's 5th President

Kenyans on social media have rejected Makueni Governor Prof. Kivutha Kibwana's plans to retire from politics.

In a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday, the second time Governor hinted at hanging his political boots once his term expires in 2022.

"Public life is a life of service; it is missionary work. In Makueni we listen to one another so that we can build consensus on how we want to develop. I enjoy sitting, talking and walking with our people. When I leave public life, I will dearly miss this aspect of my public political life," the Wiper party Governor captioned a photo where he's freely interacting with his constituents.

Kenyan social media users however urged the Governor not to retire and vowed to make him the country's next President.

Augustus Mutemi Mbila said: "Dear Governor (Prof) Kibwana, kindly delete "When I leave public life" because you are not leaving it anytime soon. We are going to make you the President of the Republic of Kenya upende usipende. Ikishindikana we will amend the Constitution so that you serve as Governor for life."

Gikonyo Kelvin noted: "Bwana Governor, I know you plan to retire from active politics at the end of this term but can we do this social experiment please, announce your candidature for presidency, make sure your name is on the ballot papers then go home and rest. Don't even campaign. I'm trying to see something."

Senan Kanana commented: "Leave and go where? When we need you most. If you are leaving, we all are coming to camp at your home. Rule us from there we don't care. Long live Kibwana."

Robbins Wa Angelo Jnr quipped: "We have held you hostage till we decide you can retire. I'm not from Makueni county but we are the ones who will decide your retirement mheshimiwa.
Start planning to be on the ballot come 2022. We shall also render the Makueni county government governor's docket vacant just incase you're rigged, you go back and serve as the governor till WE announce your retirement."

Mère Bongani Morumbwa wrote: "We will make you president.....ukikataa We will beat you up and drag you up to the house on the hill😂😂 Endelea kubuy carton boxes za kupack virago zako."

Carey Blessings said: "We will force you to be the next President congratulations and thanks for having your people at heart ...work,help and love to humankind is service to God stay blessed mheshimiwa."

Kendy Mbugua said: "The biggest mistake you will do is to announce you running for President because you will make me leave everything and be your chief campaign manager with no salary!! The only person who can make sense in that state house is you. Bwana Kibwana...sema tu ngwe uone!!"

Chris Odhiambo noted: "That will not be soon prof. as we are determined to elect you again to lead this country this time round. You have the qualities we have been looking for all these years in a president."

Kitainge Muthoka: "Prof. Kudos. You are not leaving soon. Kenyans, I included will make you President of kenya by force. We can't let that chance slip in our hands. We havr suffered far too long, it's time we forcibly elected those we want even though the dynasties don't like it. Come and do to kenya what you have done to makueni."

Kivutha has won the hearts of many Kenyans with his style of leadership which involves public participation in development projects.

Already, the Governor has rolled out an affordable healthcare program for Makueni residents in addition to connecting them with clean piped water and setting up of milk and mango processing plants.

This guy is really walking the talk that those greedy hyenas in the name of MPs, etc make when looking for Wanjiku's votes. He also reminds me of how much effort he put to try get Moi stop his egoistic style of leadership.
