Retired President Moi Flown to Israel for Treatment

Retired President Daniel Arap Moi was on Sunday morning reportedly flown to Israel for treatment.

Accompanying him on the trip is his son, Senator Gideon Moi and personal doctor, David Silverstein.

Sources said the ex-Head of State is set to have a specialized assessment on his knee, which has been causing him discomfort. The 93-year-old is reportedly set for an admission at a hospital in Tel Aviv, the second most populous city in the Middle-East country after Jerusalem.

Moi, who ruled Kenya for 24 years between 1978 and 2002, has enjoyed good health since his retirement.

He however had minor surgery performed on his knee in January last year at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi.

Of course he doesn't want to be treated in Kenyatta National Hosp coz he knows it's a shitty hospital! He ruled thw country for 24 years and under his watch failed to develop great hospitals. Politicians always travel abroad for treatment!

This makes me want to throw up. You waste a country for twenty four years, you create economic refugees some of whom are being separated from families today, deported back. What a shame. You ran the country to the ground and now you are running to Israel for "specialized treatment" and we know very well its a freaking knew replacement that should have been done in Sotik if you were not busy raping the country with your cronies who are now dead. Wonder whether they took their money with.

Why do you steal and kill Kenyans yet you cannot steal life?Muuaji Moi plus other murderers, kina Raila,Joho,Kabogo,Wanjiru etc should just face the firing squad before their date with their Creator(Propietor) comes for the families of their victims to see justice.

From William Ole Ntimama, Joseph Kamotho, Mark arap Too, Nicholas Biwott, Bargetuny, Nassir, Mulu Mutisya, Kariuki Chotara, Divorce-prone Kibor, and other KANU thieves who caused so many pain to so many Kenyans, are also dying slowly in pain until they are clinically dead. Look at the way they are forgotten as soon as they die. Look at the way they use their scions to protect them during their retirement, and how Moi groomed Uhuru and Ruto to do so, now preparing his son Gideon, to become president. And foolish Kenyans vote them in, ooooh halelluyah. Ya dunia ni hapa hapa. You may seek to be protected together with what you stole but God doesn't forget his people: the orphans of 1987, 1992, 1998, 2000, 2007-2008 etc. No wonder the money they amassed by looting our coffers never buy them new organs. Mwizi, the people he rules and stole from for 24 years can’t afford to go overseas for treatment leave alone afford meals for their families.
