NASA Asks Supporters to Boycott Products of Company Linked to Billionaire Businessman Chris Kirubi
National Super Alliance (Nasa) has named more products that its supporters should boycott.
Speaking during a press briefing at Okoa Kenya offices in Nairobi on Wednesday, Nasa leaders asked their supporters to boycott products from Haco Tiger Industries, a firm linked to billionaire businessman Chris Kirubi.
Led by former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna and Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala, the leaders claimed that Haco, which manufactures stationery and beauty products, played a part in subverting the will of Kenyans in last year's presidential election.
"We are encouraging our supporters not to buy products and services so that we send a clear message to the world that impunity does not pay, " Miguna said.
Some of its famous products include; Bic pens, Miadi, cleaning detergent - So Soft, Amara, Haco pegs, shavers and Ingrams.
The leaders said their last year's boycott call on Bidco, Brookside and Safaricom has cost the three firms billions in losses.
"The effect of these boycotts is being felt everywhere," Mr Miguna said during a press conference at Okoa Kenya Offices in Lavington, Nairobi.
The leaders further announced that Nasa plans to petition the International Criminal Court (ICC) to commence investigations into the alleged profiling and killing of its supporters.
They maintained the planned inauguration of Nasa leader Raila Odinga as the people's president is still on course.

Empty debes make the most noise. Miguna Miguna is one such a debe. Kwani hakuna lawyers that can take this con artist on and sue for damages? Chris ought to take him on, lakini pengine he has balanced the chances of this kiatu paying up/his time and realizes he would rather sacrifice the pennies lost. Kwani practice yake ya Canada is being manned by who? Canadians ought to launch an investigation and validate if his asylum case still stands or should be suspended.
