Confusion as Kalonzo Musyoka's name is Listed in IEBC's List of Presidential Candidates

There was confusion in National Super Alliance (NASA) after it emerged that Wiper leader and NASA Presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka’s name was in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission's (IEBC) list of those who will be contesting for the Presidency in the August 8 polls.

Kalonzo Musyoka was named as NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s running mate on April 27 at Uhuru Park in Nairobi, and questions were raised why his name was enlisted in the electoral body’s list of presidential candidate.

But the Wiper Democratic Movement party moved quickly to clarify why Musyoka’s name was in the list.

Wiper secretary general Hassan Omar dismissed that Kalonzo will be in the ballot as a presidential candidate, explaining the party had already forwarded Kalonzo’s name as the Wiper Presidential candidate before NASA had settled jointly on Raila Odinga as the coalition’s presidential flag bearer.

But this shows where IEBC stands in preparation for the elections. The correction should come from IEBC. How do we really do our thing How do we run our affairs?
