Developers Announce Plans for Multi-Purpose Complex in Westlands

Nairobi's real estate landscape is evolving with the development of Habitat, a 24-story mixed-use complex on Ralph Bunche Road.

Developed through a partnership between Mi Vida Homes and Space Master Properties, the project marks a significant foray into medical tourism by integrating healthcare, hospitality, and residential components within a single urban development. At the core of Habitat is a medical facility offering 42 suites for sale to healthcare providers, aiming to accommodate the increasing demand for specialised medical services as Kenya positions itself as a medical tourism hub in East Africa.

The complex also offers short- and medium-term accommodations, retail spaces, and residences equipped with assisted living features, providing a holistic approach to urban living. Construction of Habitat has reached a milestone with the structure topping out and entering the finishing phase. Show houses are prepared, enabling prospective investors and buyers to visualise the completed project. Mi Vida Homes will oversee the commercial strategy and operational management of the development, leveraging their track record of delivering high-quality projects on schedule.

Samuel Kariuki, CEO of Mi Vida Homes, highlights the pioneering aspect of Habitat, emphasising its unique integration of healthcare into real estate development. He says that the project strategically combines location, accessibility to medical services, and well-designed living spaces, presenting a lucrative investment opportunity, particularly for those looking to capitalise on the rise of medical tourism in the region.

Mi Vida Homes and Space Master Properties' collaboration reflects a shared vision of creating real estate solutions that address tangible human needs. Kariuki emphasises their commitment to delivering timely, top-tier projects that provide long-term value. Parklane Construction is also contributing to the development to ensure the highest standards of construction and execution.

As Nairobi evolves into a dynamic metropolitan hub, Habitat exemplifies a shift towards innovative projects that extend beyond traditional residential and commercial spaces. By integrating healthcare into its design, the complex addresses the needs of both local and international visitors seeking medical treatment, potentially enhancing Nairobi's appeal as a healthcare and wellness destination.

The collaboration between Mi Vida Homes, Space Master Properties, and Parklane Construction signifies a new direction in the country's urban development, prioritising comprehensive, forward-thinking solutions to modern living.
