It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cedric "Cedo" Awitty in Chantilly, Virginia, USA on Monday, June 9, 2025, after a brief illness.

Cedric was the beloved son of Margaret and Jacob Awitty. He was brother to Maureen Awitty Swanson, Jeremy Awitty and Shirley Awitty. He was brother in law to Ryan Swanson and Violet Manigi and uncle to Peter, Camron, Kimberly and Melena.

He will be laid to rest at his father's home in Karateng, Kisumu, Kenya.
