Kenya Investment Authority Signs a Partnership With CNN
The Kenya Investment Authority (KIA) has inked a partnership with Cable News Network (CNN) to support investment promotion.
The partnership with the multinational news channel is expected to support the positioning of Kenya as an attractive investment destination and to promote export.
It will also come with media training aimed at building the capacity of the Kenyan media to tell the investment story.
The partnership is one of the deals brokered by Investments, Trade and Industry Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria during his recent tour to market Kenya globally.
On Thursday, Kuria held a meeting with the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) Director Enoch T. Ebong in Washington, D.C, where they discussed ways of building more partnerships in the private sector between the two countries.
KIA is responsible for facilitating the implementation of new investment projects, providing after care services for new and existing investments, as well as organizing investment promotion activities both locally and internationally.
