Boda Boda Rider Arrested in Nairobi with 222 Sachets of Suspected Heroin and Cocaine

Anti-narcotics detectives have arrested two suspected drug traffickers in Nairobi and recovered 222 sachets of drugs believed to be heroin and cocaine.

The highly addictive drugs were recovered from a boda boda rider in the Uthiru area, who is believed to have been making deliveries to potential clients.

The undercover detectives pounced on 32-year-old Selestino Inee, who was ferrying the drugs stashed in his jacket using a motorbike registration number KMEY 571Y.

Following his arrest, Inee led sleuths to the house of his accomplice Pepriter Kadenyi, 44, where a further recovery of granular substance was made.

Also recovered during the operation was dry weed with a street value of Sh100,000 wrapped in a manila shopping bag and two digital weighing scales.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations said the arrest of the two followed an operation in neighboring Rirurta Satellite on Wednesday, where detectives recovered 13 sachets of cocaine from one Vincent Amufa, 40.

The three suspects are currently in custody at Muthaiga police station pending their arraignment in court next week.
