UDA Party Officially Endorses Ruto as its Presidential Flagbearer

Deputy President William Ruto has officially been confirmed as the presidential candidate of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party in the August 9th elections.

Ruto, who is seeking to succeed President Kenyatta, was endorsed as the party’s leader and presidential flagbearer during the UDA National Delegates Conference (NDC) at Kasarani Indoor Arena on Tuesday.

Speaking after taking an oath to accept his endorsement, Ruto pledged to accommodate every Kenyan if he forms the next government.

"This is the party for every Kenyan, from every walk of life. Here, you won’t be asked about the name of your father. I am very proud to be given this responsibility to be the party leader. I will do my best to deliver on the party's ideals," said Ruto.

Ruto noted that the Jubilee Party lost focus after the 2017 elections, describing President Kenyatta’s second term as a waste. He added that the current government is made up of individuals who believe that they 'own Kenya'.

"Those who remained loyal to our founding vision within Jubilee were shunned, hounded, threatened and then persecuted. This is how we lost four years that would have gifted the brilliant blossoming of a beautiful   dream which inspired millions of Kenyans in 2013," said Ruto.

"President Kenyatta told me he needed space to work on his personal legacy. I obliged and this led to me being placed at the periphery. But during this 4 years, I was way, I was able to talk to people in the villages and listen to them so that I can do what they want.”

The deputy president also took the chance to highlight some of the achievements made by the Jubilee government including the construction of 700km long Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), 10,000 km of roads, and the connection of six million people to electricity.

"We also constructed over 150 technical teaching institutions. We rolled out a comprehensive UHC to complete a task of transforming Kenya that we were assigned in 2013," he said.

Mr. Ruto you are a part of the present government. I hope you are talking about yourself when you say the government lost focus and it is made up of individuals who believe that they 'own Kenya'.

Ruto is not part of the government. He was sidelined 4 years ago and takes no part in the decisions of government. But he's occupying an office which he was elected into, not appointed. Only the people can make him vacate it. Fight on, son of Sugoi!

Some crazy delay gates just endorsed a thief to run for the presidency of Kenya. What a shameful act! Kenya will become a pariah nation among nations should Ruto ascend to presidency!!

What a freaking shameless whiner!? Who told Ruto to stay away after 2017? I would have fired the nude for TangaTanga-ring had I been Uhuru! This useless thief still does not get it. Kenyans can’t this foolish to vote for a useless crook.

Hahaha this suspect behind Kiambaa Massacre, land grabber, looter of tax payers money can not and would not entertain the thought of anyone else challenging him. He would Musando and Kenei them mercilessly. He would be the African Putin.
Luck however is on Kenyan side because he will NEVER be president.
He can go to Ichaweri to abuse Uhuru everyday, akule madazi hapo Gatundu everyday accompanied by Gīkūyū traitors who have sold their souls for cheap but he will not win. And FYI, Raila does NOT need Mt.Kenya to win.

Now Ruto assumes he has the authority to lootall once he is elected president; if that by error of omission happens. It will certainly be a sad day if Ruto is elected president.

Looking at the very angry DP talk in Thika, I kept wondering if Ruto is really able to be a president of a Republic, any republic, because he is deeply consumed by anger and wrath like a furious dog.

Ruto is really in a lot mental and physical pain and anger that only a medical personnel maybe able to explain.

There is no presidential material in Ruto. This guy cannot be a president!

Whoever prepared Ruto for his UDAku NDC totally misled him but all the same Kenyans are not surprised to see and hear the filth that came out of Ruto’s mouth on that material day in Thika.

There is a true demon controlling WSR events and the speeches of Moses Kuria and Linturi’s will make Ruto lose a huge chunk of votes.

Kenyans are deeply disturbed by Kuria’s admission that he is the architect of stealing elections as much as they are concerned about Linturi’s madoadoa diatribe in Eldoret. Ruto crowned those nasty sentiments with some very bitter remarks about the presidency like he is not a member of that body.

There is a huge danger lurking in the political system of Kenyans if Kenyans were to elect Ruto as the next president.

The country is plainly staring at Ruto preparing to burn the country down. Ruto lacks the bravado to be the next president of the Republic of Kenya. It cannot be no matter how anyone spins it!

Ruto is not fit to be president of a Banana Republic; and kenya is surely not a banana Republic. Kenyans beware of who you elect to be your next president.
