I Won’t Allow ‘Deep State’ to Steal My Votes, Deputy President William Ruto Says

Deputy President William Ruto says he will develop a water-tight security plan to guard his votes from being stolen by the ‘deep state.’

Ruto, who is on a tour to western Kenya to popularize his 2022 presidential bid, stated that he will not allow the ‘deep state’ to stop him from ascending to power if Kenyans elect him next year.

The deputy president exuded confidence that he will trounce his competitors and called on his supporters to come out in large numbers to vote for him.

"Hotel and boardroom meetings shall not bear fruits in the next presidential race. The decision on the leadership of Kenya shall be made by millions of Kenyans comprising millions of unemployed youth and poor women who toil to put food on their tables," Ruto stated.

Ruto pledged that his administration will revive the country’s economy through his bottom-up economic model, which seeks to empower and lift the lives of ordinary Kenyans.

“Many Kenyans are not able to borrow loans because they have been listed as defaulters on the CRB by online financial lending firms. But from next year, we shall allocate Sh50 billion to agriculture, Sh50 billion to give loans to small-scale traders to boost their businesses, and an additional Sh100 billion on projects that will generate jobs for the youth in the government budget," he said.

At the same time, Ruto asked his competitors to stop hanging around President Kenyatta waiting for his endorsement, saying they should prepare to face him on the ballot.

“Let them stop surrounding the President and let him serve the 45 million Kenyans. Let them identify a presidential candidate, come up with an agenda and a strategy like we in UDA who have a candidate in the name of William Ruto, bottom-up economic model as our agenda and a strategy to unite all Kenyans and empower them," he said.

Deputy president: Could you please shed some light on those criminals responsible for barbecuing innocent old men, women, and children in Kiambaa Church in Eldoret in 2007?

In less than three months, it will be exactly 14 years since the roasting of innocent Kenyans happened. Is this the length of time that your administration will take in finding out those evil people responsible for such heinous act and prosecuting them in the court of law?

Your silence in this extremely sensitive and salient matter shows very clearly that you are NOT FIT to be elected the next president of Kenya come 2022.

It is also rumored that you impregnated a college student and refused to support raising your child with her while professing to be a follower of a foreign religion that is based on the late Son Of Mariam. Is this information accurate?

Is it equally true that you stole the land of the late Brother Muteshi?
