Kenyan Doctor Who Injected His Two Kids with Killer Substance to Face Murder Charges

A Nakuru-based doctor suspected of killing his two children before attempting suicide is set to be charged with murder.

Dr. James Muriithi Gakara, an obstetrician at Optimum Current Hospital in Nakuru, is said to have injected the two kids with an unknown substance, killing them on the spot.

A police report indicates that assorted drugs, used syringes, and a sharp kitchen knife were recovered at the scene of the murder, an indication that the minors were injected with a lethal substance prior to their death.

The kids were found by detectives lying lifeless on their bed at the doctor’s apartment in the affluent Milimani estate in Nakuru, with foam oozing from their mouths.

Gakara is reported to have had a disagreement with his wife, who was away in Nairobi during the incident.

The medic was also found lying unconscious on his bed and was rushed to Nakuru Level 5 Hospital where he was admitted and is in stable condition.

The suspect is awaiting questioning soon as he gets better and will be arraigned in court to answer to murder charges.

Shepherd should mercilessly be dealt with if he happens to confess be the Raila in this case. But I doubt if the Afandis have completed investigations as county DCI boss had an hour ago said they were yet to interview the house girl and Shepherd’s wife.
