Murder Suspect Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu Releases Gospel Song

Murder suspect Joseph Irungu, alias Jowie, has joined the gospel music industry.

Irungu, who is the prime suspect in the murder of 28-year-old Kenyan business lady Monica Kimani, is set to officially release his first song dubbed ‘Nishikilie’ on Wednesday.

‘Nishikilie’ is a worship song in which Irungu appears to talk about his tribulations in life. Irungu, who doubles up as a songwriter, is working under Safri Records.

“Music is a talent that God blessed me with and I used it growing up at Agape Church where I was a choir coach and instrumentalist,” he told a local news outlet on Tuesday.

“This year, the music bug bit again and I had to get in the booth and do something about it. Nishikilie shows how best I communicate with my God.”

Irungu was charged with the murder of Monica alongside journalist Jacque Maribe, who was his girlfriend. He was released on a Sh2 million bail in February this year after spending 15 months in prison.

Monica was found brutally killed in her rented apartment at Lamura Gardens in Nairobi’s Kilimani area in September 2018.

Her mutilated body had been dumped in a bathtub with hands and legs tied, and throat slit. She had just returned from Juba, South Sudan, where she was reportedly running a family business.

Why is it that when the going gets tough, we hide in religion. Convicts come out of prison and their first stop is the church. Thieves when caught go to seek refuge in church. Ironic. Means there are many cons in church.

Because that where all the criminals hide and you can scam people legally with a false doctrine called tithe. There is no Levites priests today or temple in Jerusalem. Tithe is a penalty you pay if you do not read your Bible to know it was given to the tribe of Levi only. Anybody collecting tithe today is a scammer and a fake levites priest.

The moral bankruptcy in foreign religion is being revealed. The foundation of christianity is slavery. Time for Revelation and Restoration. Time to go back to our God and our ancestors.
